Interesting weekend already...

I visited a few stores today, focused alot on my up coming trip. One thing I wanted to do today was get my hair bleached. On my way home I went to Fantastic Sam's, I usually goto the one in Riverton, but Inkley's had one next door. After waiting, she called me back, as I sat down I told her what I wanted. Just to trim things up, then bleach the tips. We continued making small talk and mixes up the bleach. Before I knew it, she takes this heaping spoonful and slams it on my head, and rubs it all over my entire scalp. I wasn't sure if it could be undone, so I didn't say anything, maybe I should have?! Now, I am a complete blondie!!! Never going to that location again!

Afterward, my buddy (Aaron) calls me up looking for something to do. We went and grabbed a bite then headed to the theaters for "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull". The movie was HORRIBLE! The first half was pretty bad, and it got progressively worst. Do not see this movie, it was awful! I knew it would not compare to the originals, they are classic movies. I was expecting it to be half way decent, I want a refund!

SCUBA

When I found out about a family trip to Cancun, Mexico in June 2008, I wanted to be certified with atleast some gear. I called around to many shops hoping to find the best deal. After talking with a few instructors, I learned price is not first priority. I started asking question about the gear, training facilities, instructors experience and such. One shop in Salt Lake really stood out, Dive Addicts. Every year they bring in new updated gear for students to use. The pool was very clean (comparing to other shops I visited). The staffed are very friendly and really go the extra mile, best customer service ever!

After our class room dives in the training pool 4 times, then need to have 2 dives as open water. We went to The Crater, near Heber, Utah. After diving in the pool, I fell in love with the sport. I've never really found a hobby fitting for me. Don't get me wrong, I love photography, fishing, computers...ect, but SCUBA is hitting me as more of a passionate. I really want to learn as much as possible and dive the world. In fact, I am proud to announce I have already taken and finished one technical diving class, NITROX. With many more on my list to complete, much as Rescue, Solo, Night Diving. Unfortantly, those classes will need to wait until after Cancun.

My nieces in review...

I am pleased to announce Brielle graduated pre-school today. The ceremony was filled with the kids singing a number of songs. Afterward the diplomas were handed out to each student.

And last month Azlynn was awarded "Student of the Month" at her elementary school! The girls are very determined and goal-oriented. I am very proud of both of them, GREAT JOB!

Utah Jazz need a new head coach...

Utah Jazz have accomplished everything, except win an NBA championship. Counting this year, Jazz have made 22 appearances in the playoffs dating back to 1984. Only 2 appearances to the NBA finals in 1997 and 1998. Both were lost against the Chicago Bulls in a best of seven series only winning two games.

Jazz defiantly have the talent to beat any team in NBA. The problem starts with the bench, they are not getting enough playing time. Ronnie Price has proved himself, even in the playoffs. He has stepped up and made HUGE plays. Instead of leaving him in the game, he is benched. Price's average time per-game is less then ten minutes. Also, look at Matt Harpring, once a starter averaged over thirty minutes now his average is less then twenty.

If Jazz can rotate more guys more often, it leave more energy from our starting players to play against a tired defense. Its time Jerry Sloan step down from the Jazz, and bring in a coach that is willing to play a rookie in a regular season game. Morris Almond has only played in 9 games for an average of 4 minutes. Allow him to build confidence with his teammates on the floor, if he plays good DO NOT BENCH HIM!
